The main purposes for which the Ayala Mountaineers Club. Inc. was instituted are as follows:

  1. To promote the ideals of, train and admit qualified individuals, develop skills, and provide venues for the sports of mountain trekking, rock climbing, river trekking and cross-country hiking.
  2. To endeavor to make members and the general public aware of environmental problems and provide means for active involvement in conservation of the environment.
AMCI welcomes and invites outdoor enthusiasts to undergo its Basic Mountaineering Course (BMC) training held annually. During the off-training season, Ayala Mountaineers organize expeditions in which non-members are allowed to participate.

Through such adventures, being up close to the majesty of nature, AMCI aspires to evoke a higher level of awareness, and acceptance of our responsibilities to the environment particularly to the mountains and other places we visit.
